Periods
Below is a list of the main Periods that we play at the
Warlords, with links to more information and the contact details
of the Period Co-ordinator. Unfortunately for some of the periods
I haven't received much information, so if your favourite
period doesn't yet have a link to further information you are
welcome to write a piece send it to the webmaster for
inclusion.
Ancient and
Medieval
From 3000 B.C. to 1500 A.D. the most popular rules being used
are 'De Bellis Multitudinis' but also you may see
'Warhammer Ancient Battles' or 'DBA'.

Renaissance
This is from 1500 A.D. to 1700 A.D. which is a little odd
because the Renaissance happened mainly in the previous century.
The main set of rules used at the club is 'De Bellis
Renationus' which is also a little odd because it's not a
real word, also I think some people still use George Gush's
rules.

Horse and
Musket
This is from about 1700 A.D. to about 1830 A.D. depending on
who you ask, the most popular wars are the Napoleonic Wars and
the Seven Years War. Lots of different rule sets are used in for
this period.

American Civil
War
This is from 1861 A.D. to 1864 A.D. in America, though we
could probably include the Colonial period under this as well.
The most popular set of rules for this is 'Fire and
Fury'.

World War II
This generally covers from 1939 A.D. to 1945
A.D. Currently this period is under going a massive resurgence
with the 'Flames of War' rules and 15mm miniatures produced by Battlefront. There is also a small, but devoted,
following for the 'Rapid Fire' set of rules.
