Call to Arms has finished for this year, a big thank you to all who attended and made this another success.
This page will remain for now.
Call To Arms 2016 is confirmed to go ahead on 6-7 August, 2016.
Early Bird prices are available for all those paying before the 22nd July.
6-7th August 2o16
St Patrick’s College Hall,
581 Evans Bay Parade,
Apart from the tournaments, we have a number of demo games on show, these so far include:
Frostgrave, Napoleonics, two Naval games and the Dystopian Legions on Saturday.
So even if you cannot get away from your obligations for a whole day, there is plenty to look at when you drop by.
Speaking of plenty to do, there will be the Crossways Community Creche catering on site. The same caterers who have done such a good job previous year will be returning, with tables and chairs setup; for a nice place to site and eat while battle rages all around.
There will also be the most excellent “No, I have had these for ages” bring and buy table. So if you need to fund purchases from the Trade tables, bring along those items you have tucked away and sell them for more lovely miniatures. This year a number of classic military board games from the 70’s and 80’s need to be sold to an appreciative wargamer, so early bird gets the worm.
The Bring and Buy tables will be hosted on the stage this year. Also note that the Warlords committee accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of items at the Bring and Buy tables.
Here are the currently available Players Packs:
Age of Sigmar
Flames of War
Kings Of War
Lord of the Rings
Cost for the tournament is $45 (NZD) ($25 for the AOS or any 1 day tournament)
Note that for late registration payments, after 22nd July 2016 costs rise to $60 (NZD) ($40 for 1 day tournaments)
As some of the players packs have yet to be updated with the new Early Bird date, please be assured that all those paying full price before the 22nd of July will be refunded the difference, so no one will be disadvantaged by the change.
