Activities in Bay of Hawks Cluster

- Geoff Cooper

Intelligence for this report was gathered via remote surveillance probes and recon teams from the adeptus assasonorium with later analysis carried out by data collection teams of the Adeptus Administratum.

ChurchWaargh Rugblott recently ventured into the Bay of Hawks cluster aboard the Space Hulk 'Red Ones go faster' . Several raids and battles were carried out against forces in the area.

The first force encountered was a horde of Tyrannids under the leadership of the Hive being from the southern landmass known as Slu’issss . The battle was of the format known as cleanse (an inappropriate title given the forces involved). The Waargh endured a savage beating at the hands (talons) of the great devourers but were saved by nightfall. The archenemy Rugblott survived the battle unharmed.

While withdrawing from the Tyrannid infested areas a force of Dark Angels led by their commander Marlinius Fisherius was encountered. The battle took place at night and the Dark Angels reported that they drove off the Orks. They may in fact have overstated the case as the area was still partially in Ork hands. The archenemy Rugblott was apparently severely injured by the detonation of his own hand weapon. The Angels also reported sighting a ‘Red Tank’ of some kind that shelled their lines but with little effect.

VenueThe Waargh next encountered a force of Chaos Traitors led by the Arch Heretic Door’ay Fish’ar . While details are sketchy it appears that the Waargh destroyed a significant force of the followers of the Blood God. The Waargh has done the Imperium a small service in wiping out this nest of traitors. Rugblott survived the battle and personally dispatched several Plague Marines (?) in personal combat.

In the woods of T’ey Belle V the Waargh encountered a Dark Angel armored company led by Librarian Pepper Hell . Reports are fragmentary as the Dark Angels lost all of their command staff but it appears that the Dark Angels miscalculated how many Orks there were and were overwhelmed. The Raven Wing survivors tell tales of being crushed by a company of captured Imperial tanks that drove them back from objectives Omicron and Theta. Rugblott spent most of the battle chasing down and destroying Raven Wing attack bikes.

Next the Waargh was bogged down in a tribal dispute with another Waargh (Waargh Ray Nolds ) over control of a spaceport. After a great deal of shouting, pushing, shooting, and clubbing of heads the space port and surrounding areas were in the control of Waargh Rugblott. Rugblott personally took control of the landing pad at the head of dozens of shouting boyz.

In the Bog of Eternal stench on the banks of the Yellow River the Waargh encountered the Arch Heretic Ankor-Bok . The Waargh fought a long savage battle against the Arch traitor’s minions but were ultimately scattered by Ankor-Boks forces superior flexibility (fnar fnar). The Waargh did however destroy the Terminator Retinue and forced Ankor-Bok to activate a new body clone when Rugblott crushed the life out of the previous clone with a battle cry “Hot Damn! I ain’t dead! Get this up yah!”. While most of his boyz fled Rugblott held off a large portion of the remaining Chaos forces in close combat before night fell.

Next the Waargh encountered a force of Blood Angels led by Force Commander Scott . The Blood Angels lost all of their command staff and most of their marines in a doomed attempt to stop a mass of Killer Kans breaking through their lines. Even the Death Company and Honour Guard could not stem the green tide and the Angels of Death were driven from the field. As a side note the Angels reported sighting a red painted Imperial Tank amongst the enemy forces. It apparently sped round a flank and raided the supply lines rather then engaging the Blood Angels armor.

At the last the Waargh encountered a force of decadent Eldar of the House Beltain . The Eldar provided little details except to report that the Waargh was crushed with little lose of life on the Eldar side. Apparently a significant part was played in the Battle by one of the thrice damned Wraith Lords. Rugblott survived the battle but little else apart from Grots and a captured Imperial tank survived. Rugblott is said to have blamed the Chaos goods for this defeat. Blaming some entity called ‘The Dyce’ which had in some way betrayed him.

It would appear that for now the Waargh has now dissipated its energy. Of concern are the reports of Imperial Tanks under Ork control. The nature and number of these forces must be determined at the earliest convenience.
